Changing CarPlay screen on vehicle

Is it possible to change what is visible on the split screen? For example, if I am using Maps or Waze on the left half, can I show music (or at least the current song playing) on the right half? I can’t find any option for changing what is visible on the non-active right side. Currently I see iPhone 12pro which is a big waste of screen real estate.

A photo on the apple CarPlay shows a much better use of the right side with multiple things on the right including current song.

Shortcuts/Widget To Toggle CarPlay Button Hi! I have a suggestion regarding CarPlay, rather than a question. Please enable shortcuts to allow us to quickly toggle the CarPlay switch on or off while we're in our car. I prefer that CarPlay connects automatically whenever I start the car, but there are times when I'd like to have discreet phone conversations or watch media content on my iPhone without the audio being played on the car speakers. I usually engage in these activities when I'm not driving and the car is stationary, such as when I'm waiting for someone in a parking bay with other people in the car. How can I find CarPlay in Settings search on iPhone Please add CarPlay in the Settings search window. When searching for CarPlay it comes up with "No Results for CarPlay". Please add it because CarPlay is clearly buried somewhere within Settings. It's located in... How can I remove Music Widget from iPhone Control Centre? If anyone is having trouble removing the Now Playing music widget from the iPhone Control Centre, I believe I've found the solution. Swipe down from the top RH of the screen to access the Control Centre, and there will be a tiny cross at the LH top of the screen (cunningly designed so it's nearly invisible). Touch the cross and all widgets will appear with a minus icon. Any widget with that icon can then be removed from the Control Centre by touching the minus icon. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
