Webcam issues on Monterey

Just so we're clear, determined by whom? Have you already worked directly with Apple on this issue? Is the webcam connected directly to the computer or is it connected through a USB hub of some sort? If you're using a hub or another device like a display, try connecting the webcam directly to the computer and testing to see if the results are the same

"Connect an external camera

1. Connect the camera’s cable to a port on your Mac. See About the video ports on Mac.
2. If the camera has a connector that doesn’t match the port you want to connect it to, you may be able to use it with an adapter. See the Apple Support article Adapters for the Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, or USB-C port on your Mac.
3. Wait 10 to 15 seconds for your Mac to recognize the camera.
