Where to find my iPhone APP passwords (not websites)

How do I find APP passwords on iPhone 15+? For ex: Groupon WEBSITE shows in my Passwords section under iPhone settings - it is wrong/old. But the Groupon APP on my iPhone is correct and logs in every time. The APPs are no longer listed under iPhone passwords. This particular app has no "password" listed or available under the app settings (only a way to change your password). I turned my keychain on, but cannot find APP passwords there either. Any suggestions?

Hey there Nitro113,

If you've already searched under your iCloud Keychain list of passwords, this may be something stored within the Groupon app data itself, which isn't accessible except from within the app which would explain why you're able to log in within the app with the correct login details. We recommend contacting Groupon Support to learn more about this: How to contact an app developer

As far as updating your login details on the Apple side of things, we recommend updating it within the iCloud Keychain list you mentioned already viewing.

We also wanted to recommend a few other things we noticed from reviewing your post:

  1. We see you have iOS 15 installed, but the latest version for your model is iOS 15.7. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Any app updates? Check out: How to manually update apps on your Apple device

Take care!
