Cannot add an eSIM on my iPhone 13 anymore

Hi everyone,

So a while back, when I had purchased the 13, I tried adding an eSIM (secondary) to it. The process worked fine and I took the necessary steps that were required. However, sometime later, when I inserted the physical (primary) SIM, the eSIM signals were lost in oblivion.

Now, the eSIM QR doesn’t work. I have even tried going to the cellphone carrier’s service center (Reliance Jio) but even they cannot seem to activate it at their end. According to them - “There are some previous eSIM files that have still not been removed and that is why the eSIM cannot be re-added.”

However, there is no eSIM option in the first place. PFA.

Their advice - Factory reset the device to get rid of any temporary eSIM files.
