"Malwarebytes Agent" software and Monterey installation conflict

I have just installed Monterey onto my MacBook Pro.

But a pop up from "Malwarebytes Agent" is not recommending the finish of the installation process.

I think this "Agent" got installed by accident a few years ago. I have ignored their weekly notification requests to "download update" as I do not trust it. I have tried removing it but cannot. Is this part of Apple? Should I ignore it?

Plaese advise, thank you!!!
