iCloud storage for iMovie

I have not ever turned on iCloud for storage on my iPhone 8.

I was creating a new video in iMovie, I noticed that a few past videos wouldn’t play and gave this message.

How is this even possible?

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 14

iCloud issues often cause issues in iMovie, sometimes for no apparent reason. What might help is to:

  1. Go into the Photos app
  2. Save the videos you want to use to your Files app -> On this iPhone.
  3. Open iMovie and get the videos from ‘Files’ under your Media Browser; it then shouldn’t try to get them from iCloud

Hope this helps!
