Has anyone read the iPhone guide for 7and up.? It says we still have Touch ID with fingerprint usage we just don’t know how to use it with no home button there. Am I misunderstanding.? Thanx

Yes, you are misunderstanding big time. If your iPhone has FaceID you do NOT have Touch ID and vice versa. There is no iPhone model that has both. FaceID first appeared with the iPhone X but there were still other models that had Touch ID.

There is no Touch ID on any iPhone 14 model (or any earlier model iPhone that has Face ID).

I used to have Touch ID on my other phone. The iPhone guide insists we have it on newer models also? Does anyone understand why it’s saying this.?
