Hey Ahsanb28.
If you're setting up a device on Verizon, they have a fairly straightforward, if lengthy, process to activate an iPhone on their network. This info comes from Apple iPhone - Activate a New iPhone - Verizon:
"
- Using your previous iPhone, ensure Find my iPhone is disabled then power it off. If you don't have a previous iPhone, proceed to step 2.
- Press and hold the Power button (top-right edge) to power the new iPhone on.
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to choose a language then tap the country or region. If you have a device with a Home button, press Home button to open.
- Tap Set Up Manually. If you have a previous device on iOS 11 or later, follow the directions to use Quick Start .
- Tap the Wi-Fi network; enter the Wi-Fi password, then tap Join (upper-right). For iPhone 13 or older, if activating using eSIM, a Wi-FI network is required.
- Select your Wi-Fi network then tap Next.
- From the Activation screen, confirm your phone number then tap Next. If confirmation fails, see this Apple support info .
- Enter the account PIN or the last 4 digits of the account owner's Social Security Number (SSN) then tap Next. If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off and allow several minutes for the deactivation of the old phone to complete. If activation is successful, proceed with step 9; if not, follow the on-screen instructions or contact us .
- From the Data & Privacy screen, tap Continue.
- When prompted to set up Face ID or Touch ID, tap Continue then follow the on-screen prompts.
- Create a passcode, then re-enter the passcode to confirm.
- Tap a setup option choosing from Restore from iCloud Backup, Restore from Mac or PC, Transfer Directly from iPhone, Move Data from Android, or Don't Transfer Apps & Data.
- Enter your Apple ID and password then tap Next.
- If prompted, review Terms and Conditions then tap Agree.
- From the Make This Your iPhone screen, tap 'Continue' or 'Customize'.
- From the Keep Your iPhone Up to Date, tap Continue.
- From the iMessage & Facetime screen, tap 'Continue' or 'Not Now'.
- From the Siri screen, tap 'Continue' or 'Set up Later in Settings'.
- From the Screen Time screen, tap 'Continue' or 'Set Up Later in Settings'.
- From the iPhone Analytics screen, tap 'Share with Apple' or 'Don't Share'.
- From the True Tone Display screen, tap Continue.
- From the Appearance screen, select Light or Dark then tap Continue.
- From the Display Zoom screen, select Standard or Zoomed then tap Continue.
- Swipe up or tap Get Started to complete set up.
- Confirm the status bar at the top of the screen changes from 'No Service' to 'Verizon. This process may take 2-3 minutes."
If, after following all of these steps, your iPhone isn't activated, check out the detailed steps in If you can't activate your iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) or contact your carrier for detailed assistance.
Take care.
