Unlock Macbook with watch?

It's not working at all. Anyone know a fix? What happened to Apple's motto "It just works"? Because it doesn't...

Anybody else not able to unlock Mac with watch after 14.3 Mac & 10.3 watch updates? I switched it off and on on my Mac and rebooted. After signing in by hand, I waited and tested it. "Unlocking with Apple Watch" showed up momentarily, and then switched to "Touch ID or Enter Password".

There are a lot of requirements. Read Unlock your Mac with your Apple Watch - Apple Support.

For some additional information read I can't get my Mac to unlock with my Apple Watch. - Apple Community

Please let me know if you still can't get it to work.
