Ear canal blistering

I love my AirPod Pros but the silicon tips blister the inside of my ear canal. I’ve tried memory foam tips but it completely loses the noise canceling feature. Any advice before I’m forced to move on to another headphone?

AirPods Pro 2 won't stay in my ears Evidently the silicone ear tip is too slippery to stay in place. Apple’s accessibility advisor and o the comments seem to indicate about 10% of users cannot achieve a good seal/fit and the AirPod spontaneously drops out. I fear that it/they will drop into the sink,toilet, heating duct,on the floor or be lost in the grass. Mine will only stay in place for a few minutes. Apple doesn’t have a solution but finally indicated that there might be third party attempts to resolve the problem. Of course, Apple couldn’t/wouldn’t give any hints as to how find such products. I installed the hearing aid software and find the quality of sound assistance to be far superior to my $$$ hearing aids but unfortunately the won’t stay placed in my ears more than several minutes if I move around. Ear tips dont seal on one ear Airpod tips dont seal one ear. What can you do when all 4 sizes of ear tips wont work?

AirPod pro 2 causing pain I just upgraded from AirPod pro (right) to airpod pro 2 (left). The new opening on the airpod 2 pointed out above is causing a lot of ear irritation just above where the airpod sits. It’s rough sharp plastic on both sides (maybe better if smooth not sure) that is causing my ear to feel raw. I wore my original pros for several years without this issue so I’m confident it’s the new design. does anyone have a suggestion to ease this issue aside from trying to smooth the plastic which should have been done at the factory? Any foam tips that may get it away from that part of my ear or similar? Otherwise I’m shopping for new earphones. thanks!

Check with your doctor or allergist if you have one, you may have an allergy to the chemicals in the tips used by IEMs.
