Why is my emoji icon off to the side and won’t let me tap it to use after the ios 16 update ?

Recent Emojis Not Staying in Front I recently upgraded to an IPhone 16. When I had my iPhone 12 every emoji I used stayed in front of the emoji selection as soon as I used it. Now they do not. Frequently Used Emojis button missing I have been having this issue for quite some time (months, maybe a year), but when i respond to a text from the lock screen, my "Frequently Used Emojis" button is not available, if you open up the text after unlocking the iPhone, it is there. I'd say about 3-5% of the time the button is available when replying from the lock screen. Not sure when it started exactly, but after every iOS update, I hoped it would fix the problem, but it's still a problem

Let's quit messages, then restart your iPhone to see if that helps.
