For an excellent introduction to FCP start with Steve Martin’s 60 minute intro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqUP7Zgeuck. For a more in depth introduction use the IzzyVideo tutorials. The version is a bit dated but the principles are the same.

How did you edit of not in a project? Did you edit inside a clip? Copy the contents and paste into a project.
I have no idea what I done because I’m still learning Final Cut. But after 2 days of almost crying I done what you just said and problem solved. THANK YOU SO MUCH 😃
