iPad Air 5th Generation front-facing camera not working

Hi, I recently purchased an iPad Air 5, and over the month or so I've had it, the selfie camera will freeze up, regardless of photo/video mode. The image quality looks fine, but within seconds of opening it, it will stop responding and lock on one image for several seconds to about a minute. When recording a video, the same thing happens. I'll get a few seconds in before it just freezes and stops recording. Same issue when trying to use Facetime.
