iphone dictation not working

Ok folks. Here is a TEMPORARY workaround. Try using an alternate keyboard such as English (UK) or English (Australian). You can set that up in messages by holding on the emoticon smiley face in the bottom left, then hitting keyboard settings, then add the new keyboard. If your Siri says “something went wrong” also, then change the language for Siri in settings to Canadian or UK or Australian (but keep the voice that Siri uses as American if that was your default). Works great!

Same, and it's happened on 2 XR's for me, both my old one & the replacement Ive been using since the dictation stopped working. Factory reset both & still same issue on both. Sort it out Apple.

This is not a solved problem. I worked with apple support. They had me change to English Canadian, English UK and other things. Nothing works. I was told we will have to wait for the next update. I use this everyday, all day for business. Not really sure what to do until it's fixed.

Mine is also not working after the update. I'm seeing that this is happening to lots of people.
