Hotspot Lag

I recently bought the iPhone XR. At first I was disappointed because when I used my phone as a hotspot, an issue came up - My device was lagging terribly.

I read a solution on here for the iPhone 13 pro max that worked perfectly! I went into Settings>Cellular Data Options>Data Mode. When I first got the phone, "Allow More Data on 5G" was selected, but I switched it to the "Standard" option.

But for those with lower iPhones that don’t support 5g connection this is how to do it:

Settings>Cellular Data Options>Disable low data mode.

I am hopeful that someone else might find this information useful in the future.
