There is no power coming to the computer through the power adapter. The charge cord works with a USB c adapter. The computer was purchased in January so is still under warranty. Do I still need to purchase a new adapter?

Sorry for the delay. I had a family emergency. I can see the cable is not fitting securely in the adapter. The cable works with another adapter (from another laptop). If I send the cable and adapter to you, I won't be able to charge the computer. Can I bring the accessories into an Apple store?
The standard AppleCare warranty covers all parts included with the Mac including its power adapter.
That is great news. I did not see a way on the site to request a replacement without payment. Are you able to provide any direction?
