iWatch entry code

Is it possible to turn of the required 4-digit code to access my watch? If so, how?

access settings I can't access settings using "My Watch." It doesn't respond.

Passcode options greyed out on newly paired Apple Watch 9 I've completed syncing my new Apple Watch 9 after unpairing my Apple Watch 5. But when I try to add/update my credit cards on the watch, I get a passcode prompt in which all options are greyed out. The only option not greyed out is the Wrist Detection option toggle at the bottom: that toggles on.off but doesn't seem to affect the rest of the options. I have a 4-digit Watch passcode but evidently that's not being accepted (There's not an active prompt for it.) I've unpaired/re-paired several times, no improvement.

Turn off the passcode

Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
Tap Passcode, then tap Turn Passcode Off.

You can also open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, tap Passcode, then tap Turn Passcode Off.
