Ask to Buy has stopped working

I have family sharing setup and the ask to buy element has worked for the last few years. If it ever stopped I turned my phone off and back on again.

I upgraded to iOS 16 recently and can no longer receive ask to buy notifications.

I have followed all the instructions on the Apple support website but nothing works.

Any ideas?

I had this same problem today. I've updated both devices (my device and my child's device) to the latest iOS 16.0.2 and it seems to be working again now.
