I set my Apple Watch series 4 to update today. The update finished but the watch will not reload. It constantly tries to reboot. It has lost all connection with my iphone and the side button does not raise the turn off screen to allow me to reset

I have tried reseting the Watch. It came up as reset failed.

The Watch has now gone from my iPhone and the iCloud but still refuses to turn on, pair, or recover.

The bluetooth is not working and the watch will not go onto the close down screen to reset in that way.

What has the update done?

thanks for the suggestion. I did as you directed but after 20 seconds of holding the side button the screen goes to the ‘bring iPhone close to watch’ picture and still refuses to go to the reset screen.

it’s not even linking to Bluetooth on the iPhone even though it will give me a code to enter.
