camera app not responding

Why when I am shopping and I want to take picture of product, the camera app won't open? I have cellular data on.

Have you tired rebooting the iPhone? - Force restart iPhone – Apple Support (AU)

Also - If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch isn't working – Apple Support (AU)
