iOS 16 : Alarm widget on Lock screen does not show alarm time; shows only the alarm clock symbol.

Alarm widget on Lock screen does not show alarm time; shows only the alarm clock symbol.

The alarm widget on Lock Screen shows only the alarm clock symbol/ icon. It does not display the alarm configured time.

This is not expected.

Expected behaviour:

The alarm widget on Lock Screen must display the configured alarm time along with the alarm icon all through the day.

Anyone else?

Same for me - since the 16.1 update, alarms set thru sleep do not show up in the widget, but “regular” alarms do. Previously (with 16.0) both types of alarms were shown - I preferred that behavior. The change does not make sense to me

I'm having this exact problem. I updated to 16.1 today and as far as I can tell, it started today. Have you figured out a resolution to this?

Incidentally, if I set an alarm on the screen, then it does show the alarm time. If I rely on the sleep schedule function, it does not show an alarm time.

Also, I thought it was strange that when I swiped down to see notifications, it showed my alarm but the widget doesn't.

I think it’s a bug in 16.1 because when iPhone is restarted, then till the next sleep alarm event time, the widget shows the sleep alarm time. After the sleep alarm moment has passed, the widget stops showing the sleep alarm time.

That seems unlikely because 1) this thread was started before iOS 16.1 was released and 2) it doesn't seem like it's an especially common situation. Unfortunately, that means it's all that much harder to figure out what the problem is.

What I meant it is a bug of iOS 16 versions (16 or 16.1 or otherwise) and is not an expected behaviour.

It is a bug because the alarm time shows on Lock Screen widget upon restart of iPhone , but not subsequently as described above.
