How can I set the weather widget to display 7-day forecast, not hourly?

I've added the medium size weather widget to my app panels on the phone, however I can only get it to display the hourly forecast for the location. Using this for travel and wanted to be able to very easily see the updating daily forecast. Is this a setting that can be changed somewhere? It doesn't appear when you tap on the widget – there you only get "Location".

Thanks

Greetings, Stephen Barrante.

If you want to edit your widget, you can do so by completing the following steps:

“How to edit your widgets

You can configure your widgets. For example, you can edit the Weather widget to see the forecast for your current location or a different location. Here’s how:

Touch and hold a widget to open the quick actions menu.

Tap Edit Widget .

Make your changes, then tap outside of the widget to exit.

You can also move your widgets around to put your favorites where they're easier to find. Just touch and hold a widget until it jiggles, then move the widget around on the screen.” How to add and edit widgets on your iPhone

We hope this helps to resolve the issue!

Best wishes.

Thank you for the response however that wasn’t what my concern was. Editing the widget works just fine. However there’s nothing to edit except the location. I’m trying to get it to stay on 7 day forecasts, but instead it keeps switching to hourly. This does me very little good for planning ahead. I end up using the main weather app instead.
