I like using the always on display but I really don't like that my notifications stay visible until I unlock my phone. Is there any way to keep lock screen notifications on but not have them appear on the always on display??

Sort of. If you go to Settings > Notifications, you can change the notification type to "Count", which only shows a discrete number at the bottom.

I had a feeling what I was after wasn't doable. Appreciate the reply. I will try changing the notifications to count and see how that works. Thanks.
