My new iPhone 13 keeps a beeping sound and shows the status of the battery although the device is NOT being charged. How do I stop this constant beeping or is this a fault with this iPhone or the ios?

not the phone or ios but the charging cable.
The phone is NOT plugged in or charging. It is just beeping every couple of minutes while just sitting on my desk.
