How can I get metal for my Macbook Pro 12.6 Monterey? Or do I need to purchase another computer? I recently up graded to version 12.6 (Monterey) which has rendered inoperable many of the software programs I use in Logic Pro which requires metal.

Hold the "option" key, select "System Information" from the Apple menu. Click on Graphics/Displays under "Hardware". I'd be very surprised if Metal wasn't listed.
