Need watch help!

My series 3 watch will notify me of a text with sound but is not displaying the message. This just started a couple of weeks ago. Tried to turn off the watch and it won't.

Watch & iPhone 14 Text Alert Problem I have a Series 8 watch and an iPhone 14. My watch is intentionally set on silent. When I get a text my watch vibrates, but even thought my iPhone is set to send audio alerts I do not hear a text alert. Does anyone else have this issue?
