If I factory reset my iPhone, can I complete the set up process using only cellular data?

iPhone 13.
Hi Lawrence, I was recently told on another forum that only the iPhone 14 can be set up using cellular data, can you confirm or deny that this is the case? I want to reset my iPhone 13, but I dont have a WiFi network readily available and would be relying on my cellular data.
Depends what you mean by “set up” - you can set up a phone without Wi-Fi or cellular data. If you mean to update iOS or restore an iCloud backup you can do it with a 5G cellular connection on any phone that supports 5G.
Essentially, I'm just trying to make sure that I can bypass connecting to a WiFi network while still being able to log in to my Apple ID and do standard setup stuff. While looking at tutorial videos online, I havent seen or heard mention of an option to skip connecting to a WiFi network.
Yes, you can set it up. You may not be able to update iOS unless you have a 5G connection.
I do have 5G, will I for sure be able to update iOS?
If you have 5G you should be able to update using it. I can using T-Mobile’s unlimited plan in the US, but ultimately it is up to your carrier.
