how to access garageband older versions

Recently, after browsing for a few apple apps and not being able to install because my iphone is only an iphone 7, with a 15.7 firmware, i looked around for how to install an older version of garageband and well i came across a very smart group of people in one of those forums. I was told that if i downgraded my baseband to 2 versions prior to the bb i have now and then update to the required ispw via. itunes restore process, that i could update my iphone and not have to find an older version of the app. otherwise i would just have to down load the torrent file garageband.dmg then install it into my itunes library inturn syncing it to my iphone. does this sound right or am i being taken for a fool?

There's a fair chance the torrent (?) may be totally wrong for the rest of iOS.

Whatever you try to do, be sure to make at least one backup of your iPhone

with the present configuration. This may allow you to restore that again.

Or it may not.. The topic of getting an older Garageband app was discussed

in these Apple support communities; perhaps a user contributor may have

seen where that was. ~And could also help to determine IF that idea is valid.

Most times, those older files downloadable through the bitorrent sites could

be a big mistake; even if OK, while the instructions can be off just a little. It

may not be worth the effort. ~ As a fellow Apple product user, and Volunteer

here for awhile, I'm reluctant to suggest those kinds of things; for good reason.
