Family Plan - Multiple Payment Methods
Can someone please explain why Apple has not allow family plans to use multiple payment methods after so many years of it being an issue?
I realize that you can add funds to an account or gift card to each apple ID, but that is an annoying workaround, is simply not efficient at all, and it doesn't even work in all cases (i.e. some subscriptions will always go to the family plan owner's card).
For how much Apple likes to say they "have a great user experience", this has been an issue for years and they seem to refuse to allow each user within a family to use they own card. It just seems like they are just ignoring this glaring issue and don't care about how much frustration this brings so many families throughout every day, week, month, and year (and decade at this point since it has been an issue for so long). It honestly makes my family not want to buy things through Apple because it is so annoying to have to remember to then go to venmo, cash app, apple cash, cold hard cash, etc to pay the family plan owner back. Then you penalize the family plan owner by being charged more if the member forgets to pay the family plan owner back. It's just ridiculous.
I've been dealing with this for many years now and I have hit a breaking point and have to air my grievances.
Apple, please prioritize this. It will have a significant positive impact on my life to not have to constantly keep an eye on email receipts to remember to get paid back by members of my family 10-20 times a month. I know I'm not the only one from reading NUMEROUS other posts and articles. It is unanimous that the lack of this functionality is a bad implementation. Please fix it.
Thank you,
Brian
