Apple Watch won't open a full calendar anymore

Why doesn't the iWatch open a full calendar anymore? I used to be able to open the calendar and view the whole month on the screen before, and now it does nothing but "today" and you can scroll the list of this on the calendar but you CAN NOT see the whole month anymore.

WHY DOES APPLE ALWAYS CHANGE THINGS TO MAKE IT RENDERED USELESS.

It's almost a s bad as the ios maps that you absolutely can not look or zoom or change the view without it AUTO returning back to the default screen. It's so frustrating that it's not worth using the ios map, especially when GOOGLE MAPS will do it & they have so many more options. It seems like Apple is going backwards!
