Location based automations not working properly in Home app

Hello,

i’m John. I’m from Slovakia. I have a problem with location based automations in Home app. They don’t work properly. Average is like 1 of 4 (meaning 1 of 4 is succesfully executed). I use Apple TV 4k 2021 as my Home hub (updated to latest version) and Aqara E1 hub as a security system. Me and my wife (as the only members of our Home) have our iPhones and Apple Watches updated to latest version. I tried to reset location and privacy settings on both iPhones and i also deleted my Home, created brand new one and readded all the accessories and recreated automations, but it didn’t help. I checked all the settings in location and privacy settings. They are all set up properly (based on the advices i found on this website and other third party websites). I don’t know what else to do. Can you please give me any advice? I read that a lot of people on iOS 16 met the same problem. Thank you very much.

You didn't mention what specifically was not working with your Home automations. Are they not running automatically or do they have wrong information? That said, you've done some great troubleshooting already. Hello,

thank you very much for your answer. I have done everything from the link you’ve posted. My problem is that i have set automations that are based on term: when i leave or come home. Because it also turns on or off my Aqara security system, the automation needs to be confirmed when iphone comes to or leaves the location. Problem is that average one out of four times it works otherwise it did not recognize i left or entered my home location (so i have to do it manually). Other example is that i set my motion sensors (also from Aqara) to notify me about motion when non of home members is at home but because of the problem i mentioned earlier, i got notifications even when my wife is home (so i have to turn notifications on and off manualy when the location was not recognized). I want to solve these problems because i already ordered Eve thermo valves and want to set them for energy saving when i leave home. Please help me. Thank you.
