Anyone successfully running the new SE 2022 on Tracfone?

Tracfone is now selling the SE 2022 on its website, but I have been unable to get my unlocked (not from Tracfone) SE 2022 to work with their new Verizon sim (Verizon is the only service I can use where I live). Is anyone successfully using an SE 2022 on Tracfone with a Verizon sim? (All Tracfone's new sims are Verizon because Verizon bought Tracfone.) Am debating returning my phone and buying the same model directly from Tracfone, but in my (long) experience with Tracfone, that does not necessarily mean all will work as it should, lol, so thought I would ask here. Thanks!

Hello TAlbaugh,

If you're having issues with activating the device on a particular carrier's network, you may wish to try reaching out to the carrier for guidance. We were able to help locate their support page here: Contact Us - Get Help With Live Customer Service

This page also has some helpful steps and info pertaining to 'No Service' or 'Searching' issues, which may show up in the iPhone's status bar: If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Check for a Carrier Settings update
To manually check for and install a carrier settings update:
1. Make sure that your device is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network.
2. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, you'll see an option to update your carrier settings.
3. To see the version of carrier settings on your device, tap Settings > General > About and look next to Carrier.

If you insert a new SIM card into your iPhone or iPad, you need to download the carrier settings for your new carrier.

Cheers.

In the end, I had to return the original phone. Though completely unlocked, it was originally locked to ATT&T so would never work with a Tracfone Verizon sim (it's forever treated as a GSM phone now--it did work with Tracfone's T-Mobile sim, but T-Mobile service is unusable where I live). Went ahead and ordered an SE 2022 direct from Tracfone, but am not sure that phone will work either given the model does not support CDMA. Will update this thread when I receive the phone from Tracfone.
