iPad Pro delivery dates changing?

Hello,

I wanted to know what is causing my delivery dates to keep being pushed back? The iPad Pro 12.9 2021 model was supposed to be here by 10/7 (Today is 10/7) and it hasn't even been shipped yet.

I contacted support and they told me to give them a 72 hour grace period only for the date to be changed again. So does that mean the grace period is reset now?

Can anyone tell me where my product is and what's going on? Also this isn't even including the apple pen that I ordered.
