iPhone calendar cannot sync with Windows 10 Outlook 2021

I want my Windows 10 desktop to sync its Outlook 2021 calendar with my iPhone XR's calendar app.

I do not have Office 365. Hence I cannot use the Outlook app on the phone. It's installed, but has nothing in it, as I don't have Office 365. I have a stand-alone instance of Office 2021.

I am not using iCloud (I used to, but have removed all data and syncing everything with it).

I do not have any Google connector for Outlook.

iTunes says my contacts and calendars are being synced with Microsoft Exchange over the air - I don't have an Exchange account anywhere. My email is hosted on my own domain and email is the only service I use there - no calendars or contacts.

I have read many discussions of this going back several years, but the mix of products and settings were slightly different than mine. I simply want the option to replace information on my iPhone with that from my Windows Outlook calendar, contacts and notes.

I appreciate you are trying to help, but it did not help me.

The only objects I wish to sync are:

  • Calendar
  • Notes
  • Contacts
  • Outlook 2021

No email is involved on my phone. I don't use any email app on the phone, even if it is present.

My iPhone has many repeating appointments I made on my desktop some months ago, but something changed and I can no longer sync using iTunes.

Thanks. I do not want email of any kind on my phone, as I don't conduct my email from it. I only mentioned POP3 because I was trying to follow Rudegar's comment about the Outlook app on my phone. As I don't use Outlook (Office) 365, I get nothing visible in my phone's Outlook app.

I simply want to sync with and

Just those three data sets. No email.

if you have a ms account and or the google account

then you can add them in settings->mail->account->add account

if they are added then one can click on it in the list of accounts if one do

it present a list of checkboxes

mail, contacts, calendar, reminders, notes

where you can choose which it will sync with the account

I did not understand. I have both accounts, but are you asking me to go to some website and look for those settings, or an app on my iPhone. Will this allow me to sync my Outlook 2021 calendar with my iPhone's Calendar app?

you don't sync the outlook calendar you sync the mail accounts calendars

when you click on settings "app" and then click on the mail item in the list and then on account and then if you don't have the account you click on the add account if you already have you click on the named account and make sure that calendar is checked of as to sync with your phone

outlook is just an app it's the mail accounts you wish to sync with.

Thanks. It's not clear, so I assumed you are asking me to add my web server IMAP account to my iPhone Outlook app. I did that, but there is no calendar there to sync.

Yes, I know that Outlook is a program and I have several mail accounts on my desktop Outlook. I fetch the mail with POP3.

My appointments are mostly on my desktop Outlook because that's where I work, but I want them to sync with my iPhone's Calendar app, like they used to.

Are you saying that Apple or Microsoft has broken that connection and I can no longer sync them?
