iTunes wi-fi sync not working after updating to Windows 11 22H2

I'm a "wireless > wired" type of person and having Wi-Fi sync not working after updating to Windows 11 22H2 isn't a good thing especially when i sideload stuff and i forget to refresh it. It only starts working on one boot cycle after plugging in the phone to the computer, and i don't know what to do.

Thank you for the clarification NukeThief,

Next, let's try the following steps:

1. Make sure all devices are up to date.

2. Check whether content can sync successfully via USB

3. If contents syncs via USB, make sure the computer is not connected via Ethernet (this is not supported with Wi-Fi Syncing )

4. Connect the computer and the iOS device to the exact same Wi-Fi network name

• NOTE: A 2.4GHz band typically has a different network name that the 5GHz band broadcast by the same router.

5. Power cycle the computer, iOS device and all network hardware

6. Reset Network Settings on the iOS device, forget the network on the computer, then rejoin the exact same Wi-Fi network name

Good day to you NukeThief,

When you say that Wi-Fi sync is not working, can you provide some additional details about what’s happening? For example, is your device not detected by the computer, are there any error messages, etc.

Some initial steps we can take, to further isolate are -

  1. When you notice an issue with the wireless sync, test to see if the same thing occurs wired.
  2. Make sure your iPhone is also up to date, with the latest being iOS 16.0.2. You can verify that in Settings > General > Software Update. If you update, be sure to back up first: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
  3. Be sure we’re working with the same Wi-Fi network and not a 2.4GHz network on one device, while the other is running on a 5GHz network, which can typically be broadcast by the same router.

Thanks.
