If you have an IMAP a email account, you don’t have to do anything other than to delete the email on either device and it should be deleted on the other device. IMAP accounts reflect changes across devices. If you delete it on the phone, it will be deleted on the Mac.

If you have POP email, you will have to delete it on each device.
