Steps display on Watch Face

I recently purchased a Series 8 Apple Watch. When I first set up the watch face, I was able to choose Steps to display on the watch face. After I had to pair the watch again to my phone, my steps no longer display and I don’t see an option in the Complications to add Steps to the watch face.

How can I have Steps as a choice when choosing the Complications for my Watch face on my Series 8 watch?
