iPhones do not store or use contacts on the SIM. They are stored in Contacts App which in most cases sync's to iCloud (or the email account of your choice)

If you used to have that SIM on an Android before the iphone 12 then you can import from the SIM in Settings, Contacts, Import SIM contacts

Check Settings, Contacts, Accounts and see if your email account of choice is there and has Contacts turned on (green)

Hello NBPara,

Just to note, the iPhone won't store contacts on the SIM card, as noted here: Import contacts from your SIM card to your iPhone – Apple Support

Your iPhone doesn't store contacts on the SIM card. If you want to transfer contacts between iPhone devices, you can use iCloud to back up or transfer content between devices.

If the contacts are associated with an email address, you may try adding that to the device at Settings > Contacts > Accounts > Add Account.

You may also find details on transferring data from a prior iPhone here: Transfer data from your previous iOS or iPadOS device to your new iPhone or iPad – Apple Support

Cheers.

Hello NBPara,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Where did you purchase your iPhone 14? In the US or a different country? If in the US, how did you get a version to add a physical SIM card as all the US versions are eSIM only. How were you able to save your contacts to your business SIM, as the iPhone doesn't save contact data to the SIM? Your contacts should sync to your phone from iCloud or from your email account once they have been added to your phone. Please provide some more information about how you are transferring to the new iPhone 14 so we can better assist you.

Best regards.
