INCOMING CALL CONTROL/RESTRICTION FOR ALZHEIMER PATIENT

Is there a way to control incoming calls for a Alzheimer person so that only calls in the contact list are accepted. The patient no longer is able to distinguish people on a phone calls and should be prevented from talking with strangers to avoid releasing private information or worse.

If anyone can suggest ideas how to setup the iPhone to limit incoming calls it would be highly appreciated.

It’s not a perfect solution but this may help - On the patient’s iPhone, keep a tight contact list, entering only the people whose calls should be answered. Then tap Settings > Phone then scroll down to Silence Unknown Callers. Those silenced callers can still leave voice mail and will appear in the Recents list. This might be a good thing. When you visit, you can review the silenced calls and block them if necessary.
