Hi, my old MA877B/A is not able to update with new software so hoping to use it as a second monitor with my new Mac OS Monterey version 12.5..
what connections do I need and will it be compatible ?

what do I do with a 10 year old boxed Mac?!
Apple can recycle it for you: National Services - Apple.
Or, you could find a new place for the old Mac. For example, I have an older iMac on the kitchen island.
