Apple Watch SE Coverage I got my Apple Watch in February. I am still covered but my screen recently got cracked and Apple says I'll have to pay $229 to get it fixed. I'm just not sure why.

What do you mean get expired coverage? When you buy a new Apple Watch, the warranty begins the day it was purchased from Apple or an Apple Authorized Seller. It doesn't matter when it is actually activated. The purchase date determines warranty coverage.
