Trying to setup new iPhone watch 3 , but the update continues and continues for hours, tried restarting, cutting on and off but nothing works, watch says continue set up on phone. Idk what else to do, it’s been like this for days

It's not useless,an apple store may be able to help you because they have tools that are not available to the general public.
