Magic Keyboard

I have the new IPad Air and the latest Magic Keyboard. My keyboard is not lighting up. I restarted my iPad and the backlight on the keyboard came on for only a few seconds. The slider on setting is gray and I cannot adjust the lighting manually. What else can I do?

Try the following:

  1. Disconnect power from the Magic Keyboard OR power connected to iPad.
  2. Remove the iPad Air from the Magic Keyboard.
  3. While the iPad is disconnected from Magic Keyboard, shut down and restart the iPad Air.
  4. Attach the iPad Air to the Magic Keyboard.
  5. Connect Magic Keyboard to Power (if desired)

Does that resolve the issue?
