iOS 16 update problems

I recently updated my phone to iOS 16 and soon after my phone began to glitch to a point where I am unable to use it. I've tried powering off and on and now it's completely shut off and disabled the passcode even though it didn't allow me to put the code in. It sends and deletes texts without me doing anything and opens and closes apps without me doing so. On top of that it attempted to purchase games. I am of reasonable age to understand how to use my phone and honestly expect better from apple as I spend so much money towards the products and have been a customer for a while now. I am concerned that it may delete or send information I don't want it to and honestly for my safety as an underaged girl. I would like to know if there's a way I can reverse it or you can reimburse me for a new phone as I NEVER had issues before.

This is a user to user support forum.

Apple is not here and does not read or respond to any posts here.

Apple is not going to give you money or a new phone.

What you are describing is commonly called ghost touching.

it is a sign of a hardware fault, a short in the digitizer.

The fix is a screen assembly replacement.
