Merging music libraries...

How do I merge two music libraries on the same disk using Monterey 12.6? One library is an iTunes library & the other is a collection of my CD music.

iMac 27″, macOS 12.6

If you just need to merge the media you can pick one library, then use Import music from a computer to Music on Mac - Apple Support to add in the media from the other library. If you want playlists and other details from the second library use File > Library > Export Library to generate an XML version, then go back to the first library and use File > Library > Import Playlist to import the XML file. Once all content is in the main library see Duplicate songs in iTunes - Apple Community to eliminate any duplicates, and finally use File > Library > Organize Library > Consolidate Files to bring all the music into the one media folder if needed.
