Notes missing after ios16 update
I do not have a “deleted” folder and I am missing hundreds of important notes after updating to ios16. I tried refreshing and backing up. Nada. Help! I have an XR.

If you have Notes stored in iCloud
Settings, Your Name, iCloud, Notes, (Show all), turn it on
If you store your notes in another email account
Settings, Notes, Accounts, then in the reevant account check if the account has Notes turned on.
