I have a new iPad Pro and an iPhone 13. I want to set up my iPad using iCloud backup rather than backing up from my other OLD iPad. iPhone is backed up as of last night, but new iPad won't let me access that backup because the new iPad IOS is 15.6 not 16. Suggestions?
Wait until iPadOS 16 is released. It's coming sometime this month.
You can update to iPadOS 16 then, restore the iPad to factory settings, and then restore the iPhone backup to it.
