Deleting ALL texts at once on MacBook

Hi there,

I went through the posts and information posted by Apple, but still cannot delete all my texts at once, or at least most at once. I tried holding command and/or shift and selecting multiple messages, but that didn't work. Apple information only talks about deleting one at a time. Is there any way to delete all text messages off your computer? I rarely use this and want to clear out some space.
