my iphone 8 will no longer read barcodes using my camera. any assistance to restore that function will be greatly appreciated. Don't know if it had anything to do with it, but i recentlly downloaded and installed ios 16.0.03. Thanks

iPhone does not automaticaly read barcodes, you would have to download an app from the App Store to do that. If you are looking to read QR Codes, you can follow this guide: Scan a QR code with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
