Hello Trampit,

How you delete items will depend on what you're trying to delete. Are you trying to delete actual files from the iCloud Drive app? If so, you can do so with these steps:

  1. Go to the Files app and tap Browse.
  2. Under Locations, tap iCloud Drive.
  3. Tap the More button , then tap Select.
  4. Choose the folders or files that you want to delete, then tap Delete .
  5. Go to Locations > Recently Deleted.
  6. Tap the More button , then tap Select.
  7. Choose the files that you want to delete.
  8. Tap Delete. Then tap Delete to confirm.

If you're trying to delete things that were synced from a device to iCloud, you would do that from the related application. For example, if you use the iCloud Photos service to sync your pictures to iCloud, you would just delete the pictures right in the Photos app. If you have Notes synced to iCloud, you would just delete them right in the Notes app. Etc.

Download All of iCloud, First.

One major option is to download all of iCloud, and then trash what is in iCloud. Verify that all has been downloaded.. Use my user tip: Getting a Quick and Direct "iCloud Drive-to-External Hard Drive" Download - User Tip
